I quickly adjust to different roles and environments when needed. For example, during my internship with Sage Marketing & Media, I managed tasks from setting up the photo shoot to modeling products, ensuring everything aligned with our client’s brand vision.

At the start of this fall semester, I effectively balanced my roles as a full-time student, a campus ambassador managing field marketing events, and a social media marketing intern with Sage Marketing & Media. Navigating this busy environment strengthened my time management skills and taught me to prioritize tasks efficiently, preparing me for fast-paced professional settings.

I owe this trait to my sports background; growing up, I was always involved in competitive sports, which wasn’t initially my choice. Throughout high school and college, I worked in the restaurant and hospitality industries. I learned that while the customer is often right, it’s also important to stand my ground to maintain mutual respect. Years of experience taught me how to handle challenging situations with professionalism, address concerns effectively, and ensure I’m not taken advantage of.

My attention to detail will be and has already been a major asset in my digital marketing career. Through my professional sales class and internship sales training, I’ve developed strong objection-handling skills that allow me to address client concerns with confidence. With active listening, I’m able to understand the root of objections and respond with a thoughtful, solution-focused response. This approach has enabled me to overcome barriers, build trust, and keep the sales process moving forward.
INTERCULTURAL FLUENCY
I have developed strong intercultural fluency through traveling to Canada, England, Germany, Belgium, France, and Amsterdam, where I gained valuable experience navigating diverse cultural contexts, communicating effectively across cultures, and adapting to new environments.
